The AICTE-approved institute of Union Christian College, Aluva — home to the School of Computer Applications and the School of Management Studies, on a green 2.8-acre campus minutes from Kochi.
UCC Institute of Management and Technology (UCCIMT) is the technical institute of Union Christian College, Aluva — approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Founded in 2001 with the MCA programme, the institute today runs four professional programmes across two schools: MCA and BCA at the School of Computer Applications, and MBA and BBA at the School of Management Studies. Together the four programmes admit 280 students a year — 120 in MCA, 50 in BCA, 60 in MBA and 50 in BBA (Hons).
The campus offers smart classrooms, a seminar hall, fully equipped computer labs and a growing library. Our new academic block was inaugurated in 2008 by free-software pioneer Richard M. Stallman — a fitting start for an institute where students’ own software now runs live across the institution.
Union Christian College aims at the wholesome education of the young — to bring out the best in each individual, and to form intellectually competent, morally upright and spiritually inspired men and women in the service of the country.
